Last week the brewery installed eight 400 barrel fermentation tanks to increase the potential capacity to create 100,000 barrels of beer. SweetWater\'s shipments to wholesalers increased by a 37% gain over 2006 as it continues to out pace the beer business and the craft brewing industry.
\"This expansion gives us the opportunity to continue to grow in Atlanta and open new markets as we expand through the Southeast,\" said Steve Farace, SweetWater Brewing Company Marketing Director. \"We are now available in Greenville, SC, Knoxville, Chattanooga and Nashville, TN, Asheville, NC as well as Birmingham, AL, Gainesville and the entire panhandle of Florida. Additionally, we will start selling beer in Tuscaloosa, AL, Charleston, SC and Raleigh-Durham, NC by the end of the year.\"
